This page explains what cookies are, which ones this site uses, and how you stay in control of them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device so it can remember things between pages and visits. We also use a similar technology called local storage, which works the same way but stays on your device rather than being sent with every request. This policy covers both.

Essential storage

These are needed for the site to work properly and do not track you, so they are always on.

  • b66-consent (local storage, set by us): remembers the cookie choice you make in the banner so we do not keep asking. It stays on your device until you change your choice or clear your browser data.

Marketing cookies

These are off unless you switch them on. If you accept marketing cookies, we load the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code from Meta Platforms Ireland Limited that helps us measure how well our Facebook & Instagram ads perform.

  • _fbp (cookie, set by the Meta Pixel): tells browsers apart so Meta can measure ad performance. It lasts around three months.
  • _fbc (cookie, set by the Meta Pixel): stores ad click information if you arrived from a Facebook or Instagram ad. It lasts around three months.
  • The pixel also loads a script from connect.facebook.net.

How consent works

The first time you visit, a banner asks what you are happy with. Nothing from Meta loads, and no tracking happens, unless you choose "Accept all" or turn on marketing cookies under "Manage preferences". If you choose "Reject all", the site works exactly the same and only the essential storage above is used. Your choice is remembered on this device.

Changing your mind

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the button below. If you switch marketing cookies off, we remove the Meta cookies we can and the pixel will not load on future visits.

You can also delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings at any time.
